Louisiana Jalapeno Lime Shrimp Diablo

Ingredients

  • 1 lb  51-60 shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 c  red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 lb  pearl onions peeled
  • 4   4 garlic cloves thinly sliced
  • 3   large roma tomatoes seeded and diced
  • 2 tbsp  freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp  crushed red peppers
  • 1/2 cup  White Wine
  • 6 tbsp  Butter
  • 3 tbsp  freshly chopped parsley
  • 1 lb  linguine pasta cooked
  • 1 cup  seafood broth
  • 1 1/2 cups  Louisiana Jalapeno Lime Wing Sauce
  • 2 tbsp  Cajun Injector Cajun Shake
  • Grated Parmesan Cheese

Directions

  1. In a medium size mixing bowl combine shrimp and 1 cup of the wing sauce and marinate for about 10 minutes.
  2. Saute pearl onions and sliced red onions until caramelized.
  3. In a hot saute pan add the tomatoes and saute for about 6 minutes.
  4. Add garlic, crushed red pepper, shrimp, onions, lemon juice, seafood broth, white wine, � cup wing sauce and butter.
  5. On medium heat reduce until sauce thickens.
  6. In a medium mixing bowl place cooked linguine pasta and pour sauce over the top.
  7. Toss pasta thoroughly and sprinkle freshly grated parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
  8. Serve immediately and have extra grated parmesan cheese to top pasta.
